Petty's Family Takes Legal Action

The late Tom Petty's family has announced they are taking legal action against a Boston-based auction house called RR Auction for allegedly selling stolen items. The family believes the goods were "outright stolen from a secured archive." They request that individuals cease participation in the auction, which is scheduled to end June 22nd, so they don't also become involved in the suit.

Filter's "Face Down"

Filter's "Face Down"
Filter has unveiled the music video for the band's latest single, "Face Down." The track is from Filter's next album, "The Algorithm," which is expected to arrive in August. The video features an in-studio performance cut with an array of Jackass-type fails. "I wrote it after being inundated with lies, deceptions, and pure vitriol I saw on social media," said Filter frontman Richard Patrick.

Halestorm/McBryde Revisit "Terrible Things"

Halestorm has teamed up with Country singer Ashley McBryde (pictured left) for a new version of the band's ballad "Terrible Things," which originally appeared on Halestorm's fifth studio effort, "Back From The Dead."
