Following an initial delay, the Punk Rock Museum is slated to open in Las Vegas (1422 Western Ave., located between The Strip and downtown) on March 10th.
The museum will house Punk artifacts and memorabilia (handwritten lyrics, instruments, clothing, photos, flyers and artwork). There will also be a bar, tattoo parlor, wedding/wake chapel, merch shop and a performance space.
The museum is the brainchild of NOFX’s “Fat Mike” Burkett who put together a Punk Collective that included former Warped Tour manager Lisa Brownlee and Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge, among others, to develop the project.
