Three Days Grace’s “So Called Life” is the most played song of the year on Rock radio according to a survey conducted by Mediabase, an airplay information service.  The track is from the band’s seventh studio album “Explosions.” 2022

Students singing Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome To The Jungle” after hours over the school’s P.A. system are handcuffed and questioned by Roxbury, CT police. A teacher mistakes the lines “You’re in the jungle baby / You’re gonna die” for a threat and barricades herself in her classroom before calling the cops. 2007

AC/DC score their 9th Top 10 album when “Rock Or Bust” debuts at #3 on the Billboard 200. The album sells 174,000 copies during its opening week.  2014

Evanescence postpones the remaining five shows on its U.S. tour with Halestorm due to multiple COVID-19 cases within the touring party. “We’ve done everything we could to try and make it work, but… it just wouldn’t be right to continue the show schedule as is,” says Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee.  2021

Kim Simmonds, guitarist and co-founder of Savoy Brown, passes away peacefully at the age of 75.  2022
