The Beatles will release the song “Now And Then” on November 2nd.
How is this possible since two members of the band, John Lennon and George Harrison, are long gone?
Lennon was murdered in 1980. Harrison succumbed to cancer in 2001.
Like “Free As A Bird,” “Now And Then” was written and sung by John Lennon, developed and worked on by the surviving Beatles (Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Harrison). The track was recently finished by McCartney and Starr over four decades later.
“Now And Then” will precede the 2023 edition packages of The Beatles “1962-1966” (“The Red Album”) and “1967-1970” (“The Blue Album”) collections due November 10th.
Now And Then” will be included on”1967-1970.”
