Ted Nugent will embark on “Adios Mofo ’23” this summer. He says this will be his final tour.
“This is ‘Adios Mofo’,” writes Nugent. “Now I’ll always play music. I’ve got new records I’m gonna make. I can’t wait to unleash some of these new songs.”
The logistical challenges of touring with his dogs, kids and grandkids are listed as reasons. Nugent also compares staying in hotel rooms to being in jail.
“(This) will be the greatest, most intense, tightest, most dynamic, outrageously fun tour of my life. But ‘Adios Mofo’.”
Over the course of his lengthy and often controversial career Nugent has sold 40-million albums.
