Foo Fighters are auctioning a Fender Telecaster guitar signed by Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee as part of a charity drive put on by The Stone Roses’ bassist Mani Mountfield and his wife Imelda, who has been diagnosed with Stage IV bowel cancer.

The auction aims to raise awareness and funds for The Christie Hospital and The Stockport Charitable Trust, which exists to improve the health and wellbeing of patients by delivering services above and beyond ordinary standards

In addition to the Foos’ contribution, Coldplay is offering VIP tickets anywhere in the world and a signed tour poster; Arctic Monkeys have a signed guitar on the block; and Damon Albarn (Blur/Gorillaz) is offering a very “used” acoustic guitar to the cause.

The auction concludes December 1st
