Roger Waters, the former Pink Floyd frontman, has won a legal battle to perform a concert in Frankfurt, Germany after attempts to ban the event amid accusations of antisemitism (Waters being called “one of the most widely known antisemites in the world”).
An administrative court ruled against local officials stating neither the city of Frankfurt, nor the German state of Hesse had the right to cancel Waters’ concert which is slated to take place May 28th.
The city of Frankfurt has the right to appeal the court’s decision.
