2004 The MTV reality series “Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave” premieres. The series offers a behind-the-scenes look at Jane’s Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro’s wedding to Baywatch actress/model Carmen Electra. Oh joy!

2004 It’s a legal matter. Courtney Love (Hole) is sued by the California law firm that represented her in a two-year legal battle against her former record label. The Cappello & McCann firm files a $228,926 breach-of-contract suit alleging they haven’t been paid for their services.

2005 Wheel In The Sky… Journey gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Past and present band members, including vocalist Steve Perry, are on hand.

2014 “Transgender Dysphoria Blues” drops.  It’s Against Me!’s sixth studio album but the first since vocalist/guitarist Tom Gabel became Laura Grace.

2022 Testament part ways with longtime drummer Gene Hoglan. “It merely comes down to the fact that schedules can be challenging to align for in-demand dudes like yours truly,” says Hoglan of his departure. He originally played on Testament’s ’97 album “Demonic,” but didn’t officially join the band until ’11. 

2024 Johnny Ramone’s estate files a lawsuit in a Manhattan court over actor Pete Davidson’s planned Ramones movie. Linda Ramone, Johnny’s widow, claims that Joey Ramone’s brother Mickey Leigh “covertly developed an unapproved and unauthorized Ramones-based biopic.” Ramone and Leigh share ownership of the Ramones’ intellectual property with Linda claiming that a movie can’t move forward without her approval.
