Guitarist Nita Strauss (above left) will embark on the “Summer Storm” solo tour June 13th in Nashville. The tour will wrap up on July 14th in New Orleans.
Her upcoming album, “Call Of The Void,” features Distubed’s David Draiman – “Dead Inside”, Arch Enemy’s Alissa White-Gluz – “The Wolf You Feed”, Alice Cooper – “Winner Takes All” and In Flames’ Anders Friden – “The Golden Trail“.
Obviously, these performers will not be part of the tour. However, Strauss has announced that she has recruited Kasey Karlsen (above right) to handle vocals.
Karlsen has a half a million followers on TikTok where she posts vocal covers of Slipknot, Avenged Sevenfold, Motionless In White and Bring Me The Horizon… among others.
“We needed someone fearless and versatile for this tour who could handle tons of different vocal styles,” stated Strauss.
