California judge Teresa A. Beaudet has dismissed (on 5/9) a large portion of Marilyn Manson‘s current defamation lawsuit against Evan Rachel Wood in a tentative order made final.
Manson (Brian Warner) initially filed the suit against Wood and Ashley “Illma” Gore in ‘22 stating the pair publicly cast him as a rapist and abuser — which derailed his career.
The court did allow Manson to continue to pursue legal action but without some of the major points of the suit – that Wood filed a fictitious FBI letter and that there had been a prepared checklist created for alleged Manson victims to use as a basis for their claims.
