The marketing machine known as KISS has unveiled the latest addition to their signature spirit line with a “Navy Strength” version of their signature Cold Gin – available at Drink It Up by KISS and on this year’s KISS Kruise.
The gin carries an ABV of 57%. This alcohol level was important to the 18th century British Navy who stored their spirits next to the gunpowder. If the gin barrels split and spilled into the gunpowder, the higher strength content (57%) ensured the gunpowder would still explode.” That’s why KISS Cold Gin is “Navy Strength.”
