Marking the 40th anniversary of Motorhead’s “Iron Fist” a deluxe, expanded edition of the influential album, “Iron Fist (40th Anniversary Edition),” will drop September 23rd.
The Anniversary Edition includes the title track, “(Don’t Let ‘Em) Grind You Down” plus a live version of “Ace Of Spades.”
The package also includes previously unreleased tracks, unearthed photos and updated liner notes.
On April 17th, 1982, Motorhead released “Iron Fist.” The album turned out to be the final by the ‘classic’ Three Amigos lineup of Lemmy Kilmister, ‘Fast’ Eddie Clarke and Phil ‘Philthy Animal’ Taylor. Clarke, who produced “Iron Fist,” left a short time later.
“Iron Fist,” the follow-up to the live chart topper “No Sleep ‘Til Hammersmith,” peaked at #6 on the U.K. Album Chart in ‘82.
