Billy Idol has received the 2,743rd star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (on 1/5). The star, the first of the year, is located at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard in front of Amoeba Music.
Following a stint with the Punk band Generation X, Idol partnered with guitarist Steve Stevens to create a series of classic hits… and MTV favorites… including “Rebel Yell,” “Eyes Without A Face,” “Dancing With Myself,” “White Wedding,” Cradle Of Love” and a cover Tommy James & The Shondells’ “Mony Mony.”
