Guns N’ Roses is sponsoring a car in this weekend’s Daytona 500.
The car, #43, owned by Legacy Motor Club — co-owned by NASCAR legends Richard Petty and Jimmie Johnson, will be driven by Erik Jones on the 2.5-mile oval.
Jones will start in row 13 (of 20 two car rows).
Car owner Jimmie Johnson says Guns N’ Roses was his first concert. It took place at San Diego Stadium back in 1992 when Johnson was seventeen.
Green Day, Nickelback, KISS and other bands have sponsored NASCAR race cars.
