“Reuniting the original ‘G3’ line up is a dream come true for me,” shared legendary guitarist Joe Satriani. “I can’t wait to take the stage with Eric (Johnson) and Steve (Vai) again!”
The trio will embark on a two-month tour early next year with stops in California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Arizona.
The inaugural “G3” tour took place in 1996 with the three guitarists exhibiting unique styles and extraordinary musical innovation.

Satriani has backed Mick Jagger on his solo tour, worked with Deep Purple and released award winning solo albums. Plying numerous styles (Rock, Blues, Fusion, etc.,), Johnson is primarily known for his solo work. Vai, a three-time Grammy winner, has also backed artists as varied as Frank Zappa and David Lee Roth.
