Nightwish’s Floor Jansen has undergone surgery to have a tumor removed after recently being diagnosed with breast cancer.
“The tumor removal surgery went well without any surprises,” reported Jansen via her social media. “I’m recovering well and should be up and about soon.”
Earlier, Jansen said she might not have discovered the cancer if had it not been for a Mammogram checkup, adding “she didn’t feel the cancer.” She stressed the importance of checkups in maintaining one’s personal health.
The singer expects to be back onstage November 20th for the start of Nightwish’s tour.
