It was next man up when Five Finger Death Punch singer Ivan Moody (pictured) came down with a “terrible flu” and was forced to miss Sunday’s concert in L.A., opening for Metallica.

Stepping up to the mic to fill-in were Phil Labonte (All That Remains), Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engaged) and AJ Channer (Fire From The Gods).

Last April/May, Five Finger Death Punch was scheduled to support Metallica on several European shows but ended up canceling the dates in order to allow Moody time to fully recover from his recent hernia surgery.
