Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor has signed a “global recordings agreement” with BMG to release his second solo album, CMF2, which will arrive later this year. It’s the follow-up to ‘20’s “CMFT”.

“CMFT”, released by Roadrunner only went to #44 on the Billboard 200 but peaked at #6 on the Rock Albums chart.

Taylor told Billboard that BMG has “been keeping the fires burning for Rock, Punk and Metal over the last few years.”
