King Charles III of England has released the official Coronation Celebration playlist. It opens with The Beatles’ “Come Together” and includes Queen’s “We Are the Champions,” David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance,” and The Who’s “Love Reign O’er Me.” Oddly, the Rolling Stones, the longest active U.K. band, are absent.
The 27-song playlist, picked on the monarch’s behalf by the U.K.’s Department for Digital, Culture Media and Sport, also features pop stars.
King Charles III will be officially crowned at Westminster Abbey on May 6th with the Coronation Concert the next evening at Windsor Castle broadcast by the BBC.
