Anthrax has canceled all of its previously announced European festival appearances for this summer.
“Due to a series of logistical and scheduling issues, we won’t be able to make it to Europe this summer for the festivals we were set to perform at,” wrote Anthrax in a post.
Anthrax will miss Germany’s Wacken Open Air, Slovenia’s MetalDays, Czech Republic’s Brutal Assault and Belgium’s Alcatraz festivals.
Anthrax canceled a planned European tour last year – also due to “logistical issues.”
Dealing with rules, regulations and requirements makes it extremely difficult for U.S. bands to turn a profit performing in Europe.
