Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) went on a rant during a 6/13 conservative talk radio interview where he acknowledged President Joe Biden’s popularity in the Senate.
“I don’t think Senate Democrats, if you had video of Joe Biden murdering children dressed as the devil under a full moon while singing Pat Benatar, they still wouldn’t vote to convict,” stated Cruz.
Benatar’s fans jumped to her defense. Two days later, Benatar and her husband, Neil Giraldo, posted a two-word response: “Nice try!”
