Avenged Sevenfold‘s eighth studio album “Life Is But A Dream.” featuring the singles “Nobody,” and “We Love You,” has arrived.
The album’s production was delayed due to the pandemic which actually turned out to be a good thing.
“It gave us time to really concentrate on the record sonically after we had already finished the writing of it and maybe go back a couple of times over,” explained bassist Johnny Christ during a radio interview on 99.7 The Blitz. “Let’s trim the fat on everything and make this the best possible journey of music that we can possibly put together for everybody.”
The record is described as “a journey through an existential crisis; a very personal exploration into the meaning, purpose and value of human existence with the anxiety of death always looming.”
Avenged Sevenfold will launch a summer North American tour implementing TicketPass, a blockchain-based verification and rewards system. The TicketPass system rewards “the people who have been participating in merchandise, listening habits, music consumption, live events and other metrics.”
