
Ozzy Osbourne’s “Patient Number 9” is #2 on the U.K. Album Chart (behind pop singer Robbie Williams).
It’s the highest U.K. chart position of Ozzy’s career and his fifth album to crack the U.K. Top 10 – ‘20’s “Ordinary Man,” 07’s “Black Rain” and ‘86’s “The Ultimate Sin” and ‘80’s “Blizzard Of Ozz” are the other four.
In the U.S. “Patient Number 9” peaked at #3 – the latest of eight albums to land in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200.
“Patient Number 9” contains contributions from guitarists Zakk Wylde, Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Josh Homme (QOTSA).
Also, drummers Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) and the late Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) are heard on the album.
