Ramblin' Man Movers - Southern Rock

The Movers You Need When You Need To Move

Rock 'n' Roll, a blending of Country and Blues, was born in the South. From there, it bounced around the world. But it wasn't until the late '60s that Country influences found their way back into Rock. Ironically, the trend wasn't promoted by sons of the South, but rather, west coast musicians like John Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival and later, the Eagles.

By the early '70s, Southern Rock had taken root. Several groups not only utilized Country elements, but also added Blues and Jazz embellishments. Southern Rock also featured extended guitar jams sharpened on seemingly endless tours. That was the thing about these groups - they all had plenty of guitars.
