Jesus Jones
Briefly, '92 presidential candidate Bill Clinton was leaning toward using Jesus Jones' "Right Here, Right Now" as his campaign theme song. But after checking the polling data, he opted for Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop." Maybe "The Joker" was already taken.
Headed by guitarist/vocalist Mike Edwards, Jesus Jones had a short string of hits including "Real, Real, Real" and "International Bright Young Thing." But soon, the whole Rock/Techno/Dance fad raced to oblivion taking the group with it.
The second album "Doubt" contains all the hits and is the only Jesus Jones CD worth going after.
